Winter Exhibition Celebration
Event date:
Friday, February 3, 2012 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Presented in conjunction with Downtown Boone's First Friday Art Crawl, the Turchin Center will be open for all visitors to celebrate the brand new exhibitions on display, meet the artists, listen to live music and enjoy a refreshing beverage from the cash bar. Doors open at 7pm to the public with live music by The Lucky Strikes Classic Jazz Band!
Dress to Thrill, Dress to Kill or Dress to Chill!
The "Donors Only" Preview will be held prior to the public reception from 6 - 7 p.m.
Other First Friday Happenings
There are many other events that happen every First Friday in Downtown Boone. General hours are typically from 5pm to 2am with galleries and shops open until 7:30pm, restaurants and bars open until 10pm or 2am and two late-night galleries, open on First Fridays only, from 7pm to 12am.
Watauga County Arts Council, Nth Gallery and The Collective on Depot, just to name a few.
